When the university community has to deal with the death of a member, the loss touches all of us. Those who knew David Golub, freshman from Washington, D.C. are obviously affected by his death. Even those who did not know him personally may experience strong feelings as past losses are remembered and grieved.
Counseling Services staff are here to support all students in the Lawrence community who are coping with this loss. Students are invited to call the Health and Counseling Center at x6574 to arrange a time to talk. Walk-in counseling is available Monday through Friday from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm.
Student Academic Services staff, at x6530, are also available to assist students who are experiencing academic difficulties.
Members of the faculty and staff can access our employee assistance program by calling 993-2000.
