Direct Contact involves contacting a list of organizations for whom you would like to work. Using research, customized résumés and cover letters to directly contact an organization, the candidate is able to inquire if there are any positions open while demonstrating how her/his skills can meet the needs of the organization.
What you will need:- A list of researched organizations
- Résumés
- Cover letters tailored to the specific employer
- Develop a list of well-researched companies.
- Custom design cover letters for each employer/position.
- Send letter/résumé to a contact person within the organization.
