On-campus Recruiting
The Career Center offers a variety of on-campus recruiting options for employers hiring for one or more positions. Pick one, two or all recruiting strategies. The Career Center will market your recruiting event(s) to the entire campus, or to targeted student groups or academic departments. Audio/visual equipment is also available at your request. There is no cost to employers for these services.
Please contact the Career Center early to secure preferred dates. Provide at least three weeks advanced notice to allow for adequate marketing.
Please review the Lawrence University Career Center Recruiting Policies.
HINT: Lawrence University operates on a three-term system. Recruiting events tend to be better attended during the earlier weeks of each term.
On-campus recruiting strategies at Lawrence University include:
Information Table:
Interact with students at an information table during the lunch hour, 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., in the Warch Campus Center, one of the highest traffic locations on campus.
Information Session:
Give a brief presentation about your organization in an intimate, interactive setting. Information sessions are typically held in the late afternoon or early evening. This is an excellent way for you to get to know candidates before a formal interview, while also allowing candidates to gather detailed information about your organization. Please let the Career Center know if you have any equipment needs.
Résumé Collection:
The Career Center will collect and forward résumés for your published job or internship opportunity based on the deadline you provide.
On-campus Interviews:
Once you have shortlisted your candidates, we will contact them to arrange interviews. For your convenience, a comfortable interviewing room is available for your use right inside the Career Center.
