Interfraternity Council

Fraternities have been a part of campus life at Lawrence since 1859. The Interfraternity Council (IFC) serves as the coordinating and governing body for Lawrence's five undergraduate chapters. These chapters and the organizations of which they are a part strive to foster personal growty, substantial intellectual achievement, leadership development, and close bonds of friendship among members as well as long-lasting, supportive loyalties to the university. The Council is comprised of elected officers and chapter representatives, and is responsible for coordinating social programming, new member recruitment, and intrefraternal relations on campus.
