Geoff Gajewski,
Acting Dean of Student Academic Services
Dean Gajewski works as Acting Dean of Student Academic Services as well as director of writing tutoring in the CTL. He also enjoys teaching Freshman Studies. During his time at Lawrence, he has won the Freshman Studies Teaching Award and has been named to Who's Who Among America's Teachers.
Jere Wickens, Interim Associate Dean of Student Academic Services
In addition to his interim position in Student Academic Services, Dean Wickens is an adjunct assistant professor of anthropology and an instructor in Freshman Studies. A graduate of Dartmouth College (B.A.) and Indiana University (M.A. and Ph.D.), his main research interest is Greek archaeology especially the ancient use of caves and rural settlements and land use. He spends his summers doing research in Greece.
Lisa Phetteplace , Administrative Assistant
Lisa is the administrative assistant for Student Academic Services. She and her husband enjoy fishing, camping, traveling, and antiquing. You will always find them in the company of their dog Brodie.
Kay Powell , Student Assistant
Kay, a sophomore, is majoring in Biology with the goal of becoming an optometrist. She is a member of VICI (the women's ultimate frisbee team here at Lawrence) and the American Medical Student's Association. Kay is originally from Madison, Wisconsin.
