The Center for Teaching and Learning, located on the first floor of Briggs Hall, offers both students and faculty resources and opportunities for self-reflection and development. The CTL is a vital part of Lawrence's Student Academic Services Office and strives to assist all Lawrentians in reaching their academic goals.

For Students
The CTL provides help with classes and assignments through Tutoring, and assists in the development of students' Academic Skills. During the 2007-08 academic year, 51% of the LU student body worked with a CTL tutor.

For Tutors
We provide How-To guides for many questions, Forms for submitting logs or Applying to be a Tutor, and many other Tutoring Resources.

For Faculty
The CTL provides resources for faculty to improve and reflect upon their teaching methods through various Teaching Resources. The CTL works with the Committee on Teaching Development to support teaching excellence at LU.
