Tutoring Session Logs

Session Log Instructions
- Session logs should be submitted completely filled in and on time (within 24 hours after a session, ideally immediately afterward because you will remember what you covered during that session)
- If you consistently submit session logs late, your supervisor will warn you once and then you may be asked to reconsider your commitment to the CTL
- When you fill out session logs, please describe what you accomplished and any difficulties the student still has in the "Summary of Session" area of the log. Remember, the “audience” for your session log is the professor teaching the course for which the student(s) sought tutoring
- Erase any copies of the old session log template you may have saved on your personal computer
- Link to session log from the CTL website: Universal Tutoring Session Log
- Select “save” (rather than “open”) and name and save your log right away in your own share space (you should save your own logs for a term in case of any errors or discrepancies)
