Are you interested in serving as a content tutor for the 2007-2008 academic year? See below for an application (in Microsoft Word .doc form) and instructions. As part of the selection process, a prospective tutor must obtain a faculty recommendation for each course in which he or she wants to serve as a tutor. Prospective tutors should also have a cumulative GPA above 3.0. Complete details are available in the application.
NOTE: Faculty are given the opportunity to recommend potential content tutors directly to the Center for Teaching and Learning. Any student recommended first by a faculty member will automatically receive an application in the mail.
1. Open the file (2007-2008 CTL Tutor Application)
in Microsoft Word.
2. Print out the application.
3. Fill it out completely (including the essay).
4. Drop it off in the CTL (139 Briggs).
5. You will be contacted by the CTL content tutor supervisor for an interview.
