This word is generally associated with loose tea, rather than with tea sold in packets. Tea is often drunk with every meal, as well as with sweet pastries. In Russia, unlike in the U.S., iced tea is never drunk. Tea is normally served with sugar and lemon, and also sometimes with jam. Normally tea is brewed in one pot, and then additional hot water is poured in from a separate pot. |
