This is an elementary classroom at the Comforti Primary School. Although the student population grew from 22 to 200 by 2001 and to 420 by 2007, the school facility remained limited to one small building. The support of the local community led to this amazing growth, resulting in crowded classrooms.  Sometimes two different grades are housed in the same room. In these overcrowded classrooms, students can not receive the attention they need from their teachers.

Lawrence University provides scholarships for 50 students. The total cost of a yearly scholarship for a student is only about $20.
