Description: | Practica include a wide variety of fieldwork opportunities in psychology. For example, students might do applied work in the areas of domestic violence, mental health treatment, family legal services, victim assistance, developmental disabilities, human resources, or school psychology. Practica can be done during the academic year (at local placements or on campus) or during the summer. The academic component of the internship includes readings related to the substance of the internship, discussions with the faculty supervisor, and a written report appropriate to the discipline. Description: | Practica include a wide variety of fieldwork opportunities in psychology. For example, students might do applied work in the areas of domestic violence, mental health treatment, family legal services, victim assistance, developmental disabilities, human resources, or school psychology. Practica can be done during the academic year (at local placements or on campus) or during the summer. The academic component of the internship includes readings related to the substance of the internship, discussions with the faculty supervisor, and a written report appropriate to the discipline.
