Prerequisites: Senior or graduate status, admission to the student teaching program and to the international student teaching program, passing score on Praxis II or ACTFL, proficiency tests and, beginning in 2015, a passing score on the TPA during the first 9 weeks of domestic student teaching.
Description: This is an overseas student teaching option. After nine weeks of student teaching in the Fox Valley, students will be placed in one of 16 countries to complete the student teaching practicum. International student teaching is available during 13th Term only. Students must have been admitted to the student teaching program (college or conservatory) and have met all requirements for domestic student teaching. Students should contact the department chair for additional admission and fee requirements.
