APPLETON, Wis. -- Lawrence University men's tennis standout Ryan Dunn has been named the Midwest Conference Player of the Week.
Dunn, a sophomore from Fond du Lac, Wis., picked up the honor after Lawrence's victory over the Milwaukee School of Engineering on March 15.
In Lawrence's only action of the week, Dunn beat MSOE's Mark Schadler 6-2, 6-2 at No. 1 singles and teamed with Dan Hertel for an 8-0 win over Taylor Pfenning and Mitch Paulus at No. 1 doubles. The Vikings beat the Raiders 6-3 and Dunn ran his win streak at No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles to six matches.
Dunn, a former standout at Fond du Lac High School, is 7-2 in singles and doubles.
Lawrence returns to action March 29 when it faces travels to Knox College and Monmouth College.
