Lawrence University Names Two New Members to Board of Trustees

APPLETON, WIS. -- Former Appleton resident Lewis Lofgren, owner and
chief executive officer of A.D.E. Inc., Chicago, and Catheryn Hoehn, a
school counselor in Fullerton, Calif., were recently named term
trustees to the Lawrence University Board of Trustees. They will join
the board in January and serve three-year terms each.
Lofgren, who lived in Appleton from 1963-80 while working for
Kimberly-Clark, purchased A.D.E. Inc., a plastic cushioning material and
custom packing products company, from Kimberly-Clark in 1980. He earned
a bachelor's degree from Dartmouth College and his master's of business
administration from the University of Chicago.
Hoehn, a 1964 graduate of Lawrence and former French teacher at
Fullerton Union High School, has served as a counselor and scholarship
coordinator at Fullerton's Troy High School since 1989. She previously
served on Lawrence's Board of Trustees as an alumni trustee from
1994-1997 and began a second term as an alumni trustee last January.
In addition to a bachelor of arts degree from Lawrence, Hoehn
earned a master's degree in French education at the University of
Redlands and a master's degree in psychology and counseling from the
University of LaVerne.
