Lawrence University Students Collecting Eye Glasses for Halloween


     APPLETON, WIS. -- Members of the Lawrence University chapter of
Delta Gamma, a national women's sorority, will be out trick-or-treating
for eyeglasses Saturday, Oct. 30 from 2:30-5 p.m. 
     The students are seeking donations of reading glasses and old
prescription glasses.  They will collect door-to-door in the residential
areas north of the Lawrence campus.  The eyeglass collection is in
support of the sorority's national philanthropy of sight conservation
and aid to the blind.
     Anyone not living in the collection area who is interested in
donating glasses can do so by calling the Lawrence campus activities
office at 832-6600.
