State Supreme Court Candidate Holds "Conversation Session" at Lawrence
University
APPLETON, WIS. -- Wisconsin State Supreme Court candidate Louis
Butler, who is attempting to become the first African American justice
on the state's highest court, discusses his campaign, issues facing the
state and Wisconsin politics Thursday, March 2 at Lawrence University.
"A Conversation with Milwaukee Municipal Court Judge Louis Butler"
will be held at 8 p.m. in Riverview Lounge of the Lawrence Memorial
Union. The event is free and open to the public.
Butler is a 1973 graduate of Lawrence and has served as a municipal
court judge in Milwaukee since 1992.
His visit is sponsored by Lawrence's College Democrats, Black
Organization of Students and the Political Science Club.
