Lawrence Faculty Recital Features Laura Kenney, cello
	Lawrence Arts Academy Specialist in Music Laura Kenney will present a
cello recital Sunday, March 12 at 8 p.m. in Harper Hall of the Music-Drama
Center.  The event is free and open to the public.
	Included on the program are works by J. S. Bach, Josef Rheinberger,
Arthur Foote, and Sergei Rachmaninoff.  Ms. Kenney will be accompanied by Nell
Jorgenson and Carol Leybourn, piano, and Lee Richey, cello.  
	Kenney received both the bachelor's and master's degrees from the
University of Michigan, where her principal teacher was Jerome Jalinek.  She
has since undertaken post-graduate study in New York and Arizona.  Locally,
Kenney is principal cellist with the Fox Valley Symphony and also a member of
that organizationUs string quartet.
