Congressman Mark Green Discusses War on Terrorism in Lawrence University Address

APPLETON, WIS. -- U.S. Representative Mark Green will discuss recent developments at home and abroad in the United States' war on terrorism in an address Saturday, Nov. 17 at Lawrence University. The address, at 1 p.m. in Lawrence's Wriston Art Center auditorium, is free and open to the public.

Green, who represents northeast Wisconsin's 8th Congressional District, will discuss recent legislation, including the anti-terrorism bill and the airport security bill and share some personal reflections of his experiences on the Sept. 11 attacks on the Pentagon and the World Trade Center towers.

Green's appearance is sponsored by the Lawrence University College Republicans.
