Lawrence University Conducts Benefit Concert for Terrorist Attack Relief Aid
APPLETON, WIS. - The Lawrence University Conservatory of Music will conduct a benefit concert Sunday, Oct. 7 to aid the American Red Cross terrorist attack relief efforts in New York and Washington, D.C.
The benefit, "A Concert of Healing and Remembrance," will be held at 3 p.m. in the Lawrence Memorial Chapel. It will feature selections sung by the Lawrence conservatory choirs as well as solo and chamber music performances by Lawrence faculty and students.
The concert is free and open to the public, but voluntary contributions will be accepted at the door with all proceeds going to the American Red Cross. For more information, call 920/832-6585.
