Lawrence University International Cabaret Features Food, Fashion and Fun
APPLETON, WIS. -- A smorgasbord of food, fashion and fun will be served in generous portions Sunday, April 22 when Lawrence University international students host the 25th annual International Cabaret.The gala event features a buffet-style dinner with an international cuisine that includes Russian soup, Indian and African entrees and Jamaican dessert, live music, native dances performed by Lawrence students from around the world, a Korean martial arts demonstration and a fashion show featuring traditional clothing modeled by students from their home countries.
The cabaret begins at 6 p.m. in Lawrence's Buchanan Kiewit Recreation Center. Tickets, at $10 (children under 12 free), are available at the Lawrence University Box Office or at the door the night of the event. For more information, call 920/832-6585.
