Jill Beck was formally installed as the 15th president of Lawrence University on Saturday, May 7, 2005. Organized around the theme “A Celebration of the Arts and Liberal Learning,” the inauguration weekend included a variety of events culminating in an all-campus picnic on the Main Hall Green early Saturday afternoon.
