Applying to LPW
How do you apply for the Lawrence Physics Workshop?
- Submit the electronic Statement of Interest to indicate your interest in the workshop and your intention to submit an application to Lawrence University.
- Submit a regular application for admission to Lawrence University, following the instructions provided by the Lawrence Office of Admission.
- Make sure that your application clearly indicates your interest in physics as one of your areas of likely major, preferably as your first preference.
- Make sure that your application is complete by 15 January 2009 so we have time to review all applications and extend invitations far enough ahead of the workshop for participants to make travel arrangements easily and at reasonable cost.

How much does it cost to participate in the Lawrence Physics Workshop?
There is no fee for participation in this workshop. Participants are provided with housing in the college residence halls with a host student. Meals are also provided. There is some assistance for airfares.
