Lawrence University
Built in 1890 by the Maude H. Marshall family, the house was purchased by Lawrence University in 1974. For over 20 years it served as the residence for the dean of students until 1997, when plans were begun to renovate the Marshall house into a guest house for university visitors and a community space for meetings and other functions of campus groups.
Other university housing is available for visiting faculty planning longer stays.
