LU residence hallway and outside phones are available for outbound calls to on-campus numbers, local area numbers, toll free numbers, as well as for emergencies. Lawrence does NOT provide in-room phones, students need to provide their own means for making long distance calls and receiving calls on campus. Dial 9 + 911 to reach local Emergency Services, or
Dial 832-6999 to reach Lawrence University Campus Security.
If you know the number, simply dial the 4 digit extension.

If you are unsure of the number for a campus department, faculty or staff member, the LU switchboard operator can locate the number and transfer your call. To reach the operator:
Dial 0 or 832-7000.
Lawrence University covers local call charges. To make a local call:
