e-academy (WAICU webstore)
Lawrence is part of the Wisconsin Association of Independent Colleges and Universities. WAICU offers discounted purchasing programs for current faculty, staff, and students via e-academy and journeyEd (see below). Purchase select software from e-academy, particularly Microsoft Office products, at significant discounts. (Register to create an account; a password will be e-mailed to you so that you may log in and make purchases.)

Other Software
If you are interested in software which is not available via the above links, ITS may also be able to purchase the software for you at academic pricing. Please follow the below procedure to request a quote:

1. Complete the Personal Software Quote Form on-line.
2. A member of the ITS staff will contact you with the current price of the product you are interested in ordering.
3. To purchase the software, it will be necessary to make payment to the Cashier before ITS will order the product. (Please note that any software purchased through ITS will include a flat shipping fee of $10 plus tax.)
4. When the software arrives, ITS will contact you so that you may pick it up at the Helpdesk.

Manufacturer Higher Education Purchasing Programs

Higher education purchase programs enable members of the Lawrence community to purchase hardware directly from the manufacturers at discounted prices. Compare brands and discounts and follow the links below to make purchases online.

Dell: Receive up to a 12% discount off Dell Home Sales pricing (based on the price of the computer and the warranty chosen). Go to Dell's Public Sector web site, locate the Higher Education menu, and select Faculty and staff personal purchases or Student personal purchases.

HP: HP's educational discounts vary by product. Go to HP's Education web site, locate the Higher Education menu, choose Wisconsin in the drop down menu for the state, and click the search button. From the left panel, click Login/Register for online ordering in order to begin shopping .

Lenovo: Receive up to a 15% discount off lenovo.com pricing. Go to Lenovo's WI Education web site.

Macintosh: Apple's educational pricing program offers discounts of approximately 10%. Go to The Apple Site for Higher Education and select Education Store for more information.

Lawrence Employee Purchasing Programs

Microsoft Campus Agreement
The Lawrence MSCA lease agreement allows current faculty and staff the right to use specific Microsoft software for school-related purposes at home - for the duration of the agreement at a small fee.

Computer Purchase Loan Program
Lawrence University also has an employee computer purchase loan program. This program allows faculty and staff to finance a computer purchase with an interest free loan. For more details please contact Human Resources at 832-6564.
