LU provides secure wireless access to the campus data network throughout the campus. There are actually two wireless local area networks (WLAN) on campus:
LUwireless: This network is for student devices and Lawrence-owned computers. Click here for connection instructions.
Students, note, if your computer is not already registered with Technology Services you will be redirected to our registration page automatically. For instructions click here. Also note, wireless access points are NOT permitted on the Lawrence wireless network as they can interfere with the Lawrence wireless network. To ensure the proper functioning of the Lawrence wireless network Technology Service will work to find and remove any sources of wireless interference.
LUfacstaffpersonal: This network is intened for our faculty and staff who wish to use their own personal devices on the wireless network. Note, if your computer is not already registered with Technology Services you will be redirected to our registration page automatically. Also please recongize if you intend to access your network spaces (My Documents, Department shares, or the Campus share) you will need to request the VPN software from the Helpdesk.
