1. Open a web browser. Firefox works well with Moodle. (Mac users should NOT use Safari as the text formatting tools do not display properly.)
  2. Go to http://moodle.lawrence.edu
  3. Click the “Login” link in the upper right.
  4. Enter your Lawrence network username/password and click the “Login” button.
  5. If you have not yet “enrolled” yourself in the Moodle course, locate the course by navigating the “Courses” area in the lower left and follow the instructions when asked if you would like to enroll in the course. NOTE that enrolling yourself in a Moodle course is NOT linked to official enrollment status. You must use standard procedures to officially add or drop a course.
  6. To navigate to your course’s home page in Moodle at any time, click on the course number displayed in the upper left (eg., Moodle >> HIST101).

Troubleshooting

If you are unable to login to Moodle, try using a different web browser or a different computer. Also make sure you are using your standard Lawrence username & password. If the problem persists, call the ITS Helpdesk at extension 6570.
