1. Login to LiveText (Mac users should use Firefox) and edit the page where you want to display your video (create a new Text & Image section if necessary).
  2. In a new browser window or tab, go to this page: http://www.lawrence.edu/dept/it/embed-video.html
  3. Select all of the text on the page (Edit >> Select All) and select Edit >> Copy.
  4. Go back to your LiveText page and click the Source icon on the editing toolbar circled in red in the image below:
  5. Select Edit >> Paste to paste the code in the window.
  6. Add your video file to the page by clicking edit next to Attachments under the editing window and follow the 3-step process.
  7. Click the Finish button at the upper right to save and close the editing window.
  8. Right-click (or control-click on a Mac) on the video file's link and select Open Link in New Window. This will show you the LiveText URL to your video.
  9. Select the full URL http://livetext.com/folder/etc..../...mov from the browser's address bar and select Edit >> Copy to copy the video's URL.
  10. Close the browser window with your video.
  11. Go back to your LiveText page and edit the section with the video attachment.
  12. Click the Source icon on the toolbar as in step #6.
  13. Locate the two instances of HTTP://YOUR-VIDEO-LINK-GOES-HERE and carefully replace with the URL to your video that you copied in step #11.
  14. Click the Finish button at the upper right to save and close the editing window. Your video should now be embedded on the LiveText page.
