Which classrooms have a computer, projector, and AV
equipment?

What if my classroom does not have a projector?
- Contact Tom
Sykes (6757) to reserve a portable projector.
- Contact the ITS Helpdesk (6570) to reserve a laptop on a short-term basis.
Who do I contact if I need assistance with using classroom
equipment?
- For immediate assistance in an emergency, contact the secretary in your building. If necessary, they will contact
the Helpdesk (6570).
- To set an appointment
for a tutorial on using the equipment, contact David Berk (6756).
Equipment
I need to scan something. Where do I go?
- The main office in each academic building contains a scanner that you can use for quick and easy access.
- There are also scanners available in the library for student use in the ITC Lab (2nd floor) and on the first floor between the audio CDs and the stairwell. The Instructional Technology Lab (room 137) also contains a scanner for faculty use.
- If you need to scan a slide or want to discuss a scanning project, contact Colette Lunday Brautigam (6043), Visual Resources Library Supervisor.
Where can I get a digital camera or digital video camera?
Where can I do video editing?
- The six 17" iMacs in the Humanities Computing Lab (Main Hall 108) contain iMovie and iDVD.
- The thirteen 20" iMacs in the Computational Art & Science Lab (Science Hall 128) contain Final Cut Express as well as iMovie and iDVD.
- Faculty wanting individual help with a video project should contact David Berk (6756) to arrange to use the Instructional Technology Lab (Library 137).
- Students or staff wanting individual help with a video project should contact Tom Sykes (6757) to arrange to use the Media Services Lab (Library 141).

How do I make a web site for my course?
- There are a couple of options (contact David Berk for more information).
- Use Moodle for your course. Fill out the Moodle Course Request Form to have your course set up.
- Use a web-authoring tool like Dreamweaver or FrontPage to create a site. We've developed a web template to help you get started. Click here to download the zip file.
