
Joseph Sebarenzi, M.A., holds an Honorary Doctorate from Marlboro College. Mr. Sebarenzi presents conferences on peace, reconciliation, and human rights on the Great Lakes Region of Africa, and is a frequent guest on BBC and VOA broadcasting to Africa. Mr. Sebarenzi is engaged in a Ph.D. Program in Peace Studies at the University of Bradford. A Rwandan citizen and survivor of the genocide of Tutsi in Rwanda, Mr. Sebarenzi is also the former president of the Parliament of Rwanda (1997-2000) and a vocal advocate for peace, democracy, and human rights.
