This lecture on Thomas Kuhn's The Structure of Scientific Revolutions, delivered at Lawrence University on January 17, 2000, was designed for students and faculty in the college's Freshman Studies program. Freshman Studies, a multidisciplinary introduction to the liberal arts, has been the cornerstone of the Lawrence curriculum for over fifty years. The lecturer, John Dreher, is the Lee Claflin-Robert S. Ingraham Professor of Philosophy at Lawrence. Professor Dreher holds the Ph.D. from the University of Chicago and is a past director of the Freshman Studies program.
