Delivered by Prof. Dirck Vorenkamp

This lecture on Chuang Tzu's Basic Writings, delivered at Lawrence University on November 6, 2000, was designed for students and faculty in the college's Freshman Studies program. Freshman Studies, a multidisciplinary introduction to the liberal arts, has been the cornerstone of the Lawrence curriculum for over fifty years. The lecturer, Dirck Vorenkamp, is Assistant Professor of Religious Studies at Lawrence. Professor Vorenkamp holds the Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin and is the winner of the 2000 Freshman Studies Teaching Award.
