Loan Options
Listed below are federal loan options for students (Stafford and Perkins) and parents (PLUS Loan), as well as private student loan options. In order to determine eligibility for the loans listed below, a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) must be submitted. The steps to receiving your loan(s) are as follows:
- To receive a federal loan (Stafford, Perkins, and/or PLUS), you must first complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
- Accept your loan by accessing your Voyager account. (If you are a new student, you can also accept your loan by returning the Financial Aid Acceptance Form that was mailed to you.)
- Complete Entrance Counseling and a Master Promissory Note (MPN) for each loan you accepted.
- If you accepted a Federal Perkins Loan, you must complete a separate Entrance Counseling and an MPN
- You only need to complete Entrance Counseling and an MPN once during your time at Lawrence
