The Provost and Dean of the Faculty is the chief academic officer of the University. Among the responsibilities of the Provost are the oversight of all academic programs, the hiring and evaluation of faculty, and the disbursement of funds for travel, research, and curricular development. Questions pertaining to these and related matters should be directed to the Provost's office.

Faculty Meeting Schedule - 2011-2012
Below are the dates scheduled for the 2011-2012 faculty meetings. Meetings will begin at 4:30 p.m. in the Cinema at Warch Campus Center. Note that meetings are on Tuesdays, with the exception of the last meeting, which will be the friday between the end of Final Examinations and Commencement.

Prior to the September 20 meeting, we will assemble for the annual faculty photo at the entrance to Main Hall at 4:20. In the event of inclement weather, the photo will be taken in the Campus Center. We will proceed directly from the photo session to the meeting.
Childcare: Beginning with the October meeting, childcare will be available in the multi-purpose room at the Buchanan Kiewit Rec Center - by reservation only. Childcare will be provided by Lambda Sigma sophomore honor society students by reservation only. Please contact Lambda Sigma's advisor, Linda Fuerst, at x6853 to make a reservation.
Note: No childcare will be available for the September or June meetings.
