Professor Alan Parks has been in the mathematics department at
Lawrence since 1985. He was appointed the Pieper Family
Professor of Servant Leadership when Lawrence received its
initial gift from the Pieper Family Foundation. Professor Parks
is the first director for the Office for Engaged Learning. He
wants to do anything he can to support engaged learning
projects! |

Janice Ruechel works for the President's Office, the Provost's
Office, and for the Office for Engaged Learning. She provides
administrative and budgetary management for our office. Janice's
organizational skills, perspective, and creativity are great
assets for engaged learning at Lawrence. |
