The Coffeehouse is located in the lower level of the Memorial Union. The Coffeehouse serves the Lawrence campus and visitors as both a lounge and an expresso bar. The Coffeehouse meets a variety of needs for both students and faculty providing a comfortable atmosphere for study groups, class discussions, socializing, performances, and relaxing. Espresso drinks, smoothies, gourmet and fair trade coffees are specially prepared by our trained staff. Personalized service makes the Coffeehouse a popular gathering place for all of the Lawrence campus.

Group Reservations
Group reservations are accepted and encouraged during hours of operation, however, the Coffeehouse does not close its doors for the private use of specialty groups. If you would like to make a reservation, please contact the Dean of Student Affairs Office at (920) 832-6600. Any food or beverage needs for your event can be scheduled through the Union Retail Operations Office at (920) 832-6988 or Catering at (920) 832-6651.
Performances
Performances are scheduled by the Coffeehouse Committee (an LUCC organizational committee). Performances include: Coffee Talk (professors, guests and others are invited to speak about subjects outside of their fields); Reader's Theater; Life & Times lectures; Jazz groups; Poetry readings; Contract entertainers; and Organizational Speak-Outs.
