All students living in residence halls and small houses are required to participate in one of the dining service meal plans. All freshmen/transfer students are required to be on full board for their first term on campus. Each participant pays a fixed cost of operational expenses of meal plans. The meal plan that you select is a legal agreement, in which you specify one of four meal plans that most closely meets your needs.
Meal Plans for 2008-2009: Meals are puchased for the entire term and can be used at your own pace.
Students select the meal plan that best works for their lifestyle and remains in effect for the entire academic year, unless you change your selection by the following specified dates.
* Changes to your meal plan may be made after the deadline date into the first two weeks of each term for a late processing charge of $50.00, which will be charged directly to your student account. No changes are allowed after the first two weeks of the term.
Carefully select your meal plan to avoid having meals left at the end of the term. It is important to achieve the best buy! Leftover meals are not refundable and are only valid during the term they are issued. Any checker can inform you of the number of meals you have left for the remainder of the term. If you need additional meals for the term, you may purchase them by adding money to your Viking Gold debit account. Money in the Viking Gold account continues to roll over from year to year.
Students, visit your Voyager account to select your on-line meal plans.
In case of withdrawal from the University, a pro-rated refund of the current term's meal plan will be made.
