Participation Matters!

Lawrence prides itself on having one of the best alumni donor participation rates in the country.  It is an important measure, and one we strive to increase each year. For example, if we were able to get each alum who has made a gift to Lawrence within the past three years to give every year, our participation rate would be 63.5%! Lawrence encourages alumni to focus not just on the dollar amount of their gift, but their participation as a donor.  Last year, Lawrence received more than $116,000 from gifts of $50 or less!

How does Lawrence's donor participation rate compare?

According to the U.S. News and World Report America's Best Colleges 2007 edition, Lawrence's participation rate is ranked 22 among the U.S. liberal arts colleges. The chart compares Lawrence to the Associated Colleges of the Midwest.
