Audition Information

To audition for acceptance into the conservatory of music on trombone, please prepare the following:

• solos or etudes totaling approximately ten minutes that show both melodic interpretation and technical facility
• major scales in all 12 keys and minor scales

Auditions occur on-campus or at various locations throughout the United States. Please consult the Admissions Audition page for specific audition dates.
