Audition requirements for admission to the Saxophone Studio include: two or three works (or movements of works) in contrasting styles; scales (major, minor, and chromatic); and sightreading. Auditioning students prepare works of their choice for the audition. Auditions on campus take the form of a private lesson and are approximately 45 minutes in length. Off-campus auditions are held at a number of sites throughout the United States.
