Graduates from the Lawrence percussion program have found success in performing and teaching all over the United States. Past students have been finalists for various competitions including the Henry Mancini Institute Soloist Competition, Geneva International Music Competition, Lucerne Festival Academy Orchestra, PASIC Mallet-duo competition, PASIC solo marimba competition and the Wisconsin Public Radios’ Neale Silva Competition.

Students have also gone on to study at top graduate programs including the New England Conservatory of Music, Indiana University, Rice University, University of Michigan, and the Eastman, Peabody, and Manhattan Schools of Music.

Graduates have pursued solo careers, have performed with groups ranging from major symphonies to jazz legends to popular groups like STOMP and have taught music at the high school and/or collegiate level.
