Three ’05 graduates are pursuing Master’s degrees in Flute Performance, Fall 2005:

Chelsea Bridges at the University of North Texas, where she studies with LU alum Professor Terri Sundberg.

Marissa Olin at Michigan State University where she studies with Richard Sherman.

Miranda Wardell at the University of Minnesota where she studies with Julia Bogorad.

Marissa Olin was a participant in the Jeanne Baxtresser Master Class at the Orford Arts Centre, July 2004.

Marissa Olin and Miranda Wardell were performers for the Walfrid Kujala Flute and Piccolo Master Class, Summer 2004.

Kathy Abromeit is currently Music Librarian at Oberlin Conservatory.

Kendra Boettcher currently performs with The United States Army Band: "Pershings' Own," Washington D.C., and has performed formerly with the U.S. Army Field Band, Ft. Meade, MD, and has performed frequently as a soloist with both bands.

Paula Gudmundson, '99 is on the flute faculty at the MacPhail Center for the Arts in Minneapolis. She received her Master's degree in flute performance from the University of North Texas where she studied with Terri Sundberg '83.

Jennifer Jenkins is finishing (ABD) her Ph.D in musicology from Northwestern University.

Emily Kozlowicz, '00, former assistant to Donald Trump, is a senior Real Estate Auditor for the fashion company New York & Company

Katie Lowry is the founder of Lowry Woodwind Repairs, Minneapolis, MN.

Amber Maly completed a Master’s degree in flute performance with Ken Andrews at SUNY-Potsdam; after spending a year in France, she is now living on Long Island.

Brigetta Miller is Associate Professor of Music Education, Lawrence University.

Lauren Osborne, ’01, is pursuing a Ph.D degree in Religious Studies at the University of Chicago.

Kathy Reed is on the Music Faculty at Luther College.

Sarah Sandusky, '01, is pursuing a law degree at the University of Illinois.

Terri Sundberg is Associate Professor of Flute at the University of North Texas.

Ruth Washington is the Flute Teacher at Thayer Performing Arts Center, Atlantic Union College, and at Pakachoag Music School, Auburn, MA; she has formerly held positions with the Rhode Island Philharmonic, Raleigh Symphony (principal flute), North Carolina Symphony, Philharmonic Orchestra of Florida, and the Naples/Marco Philharmonic.
