Audition Information

Audition requirements for admission to the Cello Studio include:

• Two contrasting pieces or movements from the standard repertoire, including a movement of a Bach suite
• An etude of the candidate's choice
• A four-octave major scale and its arpeggio

Auditions on campus are scheduled through the Admissions Office and usually last about 20 minutes. Off-campus auditions are held at a number of sites throughout the United States.
