Lawrence University Residence Halls contain a public computer lab with networked Windows computers and a black and white laser printer available for student use. Labs in residence halls are managed with cooperation from the Dean of Students Office.
Residence Hall Labs are 24-hour access facilities. Registered Lawrence students have a "star key" which allows entrance to the residence halls and labs.
Laser printers in the Residence Hall Labs are checked three times a day for paper supply. If a printer is out of paper, please call the Helpdesk by dialing 6570 from the phone in the lab to request that the paper be restocked.
Color printers and scanners are not currently available in Residence Hall Labs. A color printer is available for single copy, academic use at the ITS Helpdesk in room 201 of the Library. It is available from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. (Please call to reserve a printing time for large documents.) Scanners are available for student use in the Reference Area of the Library as well as in the ITC - Library room 214. Both scanners are connected to Windows-based computers.
Note: The Sage and Colman labs are larger in order to reflect the additional number of students residing in smaller nearby buildings.
