The Library

Public Access Library Computers

The library is equipped with several public access computers for students, faculty and staff use.

• 12 networked windows stations in study cubicles on floors 2, 3 and 4; (access by "star key" only).
• 15 windows stations on the main floor for terminal emulation, Internet access, Webmail, and research.
• 1 scanner connected to the campus network, in the media center of the library.
• 1 windows station specialized for the New York Times Index.
• 5 windows station networked for media center research and 1 standalone station for interactive media and DVD use in the media center.
• The library has 3 laser printers networked to the various computers throughout the building.
• The library has 38 campus network connections on the main floor and 17 network connections on the fourth floor for students to use with their own laptops.

Information Technology Center

The Information Technology Center (ITC) is a place of learning. It is a fully equipped computer lab with 16 PC's and 4 Macintosh computers. The ITC is a teaching lab that is primarily used for faculty and staff training. It is open to public use when a class or training session is not scheduled. Faculty and staff may schedule this room for training or classes. Please call the Helpdesk at ext. 6570 to reserve a time.

Hours of Operation

The ITC is open for public use around scheduled sessions. A daily schedule is posted outside the ITC door. The ITC follows the posted library hours as much as possible.
