Computer Science 22 Machine Learning and Perception Instructor - Mr. Gregg An introduction to computer implementation of models of perception, cognition, and adaptation. Topics include neural networks and their applications to vision and hearing, and parallel problem solving techniques, such as genetic algorithms, that are motivated by the study of biological systems. Intended for students in computer science, biology, psychology, or the cognitive science interdisciplinary area. Prerequisite: One course in computer science or consent of instructor. |
