To take full advantage of the services offered by Communications, it is suggested that you meet with the communications staff to discuss projects early in the planning process.
To begin the project process, complete one of the forms here.
Among the questions that are of interest to the communications staff in working with you are:
- What is the purpose of the project?
- Who is the audience?
- What are the core messages you are trying to communicate?
- How will the publication be used? Is it to be mailed?
- How colorful should the publication be? (Keeping in mind that 3- or 4-color printing takes longer, and costs more.)
- Is photography needed?
- When is the project due?
Discussing these and other aspects of the materials you are planning will enable the communications staff to best meet your needs.
