APPLETON, Wis. -- Lawrence University volleyball standout Melissa Schnettler was chosen for the All-Midwest Conference team for a second consecutive season.
Schnettler (Neenah, Wis./Appleton Xavier), a junior outside hitter, was a second-team selection. Schnettler piled up 129 kills and averaged 3.69 kills per set in the nine conference matches.
Schnettler, who had a .120 hitting percentage, also had 123 digs, an average of 3.51 per set. She also picked up six service aces and five blocks.
On the season, Schnettler led the team with 338 kills and averaged 3.25 per set. She compiled a .147 hitting percentage. Schnettler averaged 2.81 digs per set and finsihed with 292 on the season.
Schnettler finished with 27 aces and 21 blocks.
Lawrence finished the season with a 14-18 record and a 3-6 mark in Midwest Conference play.
