APPLETON, Wis. -- Lawrence University men's tennis standout Ryan Dunn has been named the Midwest Conference Player of the Week.
Dunn (Fond du Lac, Wis./Fond du Lac) has put together a 4-1 record at No. 1 singles and a 5-0 record at No. 1 doubles.
All four of Dunn's singles victories have come in straight sets, including a 6-0, 6-0 win over Lake Forest College's top player. His only loss was in three sets to Carthage College's Sammy Ramoni, who is ranked in the region.
Dunn has teamed with his brother, Jason, at No. 1 doubles. In their five doubles matches the Dunn brothers have won by an average score of 8-3.
This is the second time in Dunn's career that he has been chosen as the MWC Player of the Week. Dunn also earned the honor in March 2008.
The Vikings return to action on Saturday when they play UW-Eau Claire and Northwestern (Minn.) College.
