APPLETON, Wis. -- Lawrence University volleyball standout Melissa Schnettler has been named to the All-Midwest Conference team.
Schnettler, a junior outside hitter from Neenah, Wis., was named to the second team.
Playing her first season at Lawrence, Schnettler led the team with 284 kills and 2.65 kills per game. She was second with 253 digs and at 2.36 digs per game.
Schnettler, a former star at Xavier High School, had a team-high 109 kills and 2.95 kills per game in conference play. She was second with 118 digs and 3.19 digs per game in conference play.
In league play, she posted a personal-high of 19 kills at Carroll University and had a season-high 22 digs against Lake Forest College. On the season, Schnettler tied her season high with 19 kills against the University of Wisconsin-Superior and had a season-high 23 digs against Edgewood College.
The Vikings finished the season with a 3-27 record and a 1-8 mark in conference play.
